Uh-oh! I’ve been torrenting away without a care in the world for decades, but soon my ISP might cut me off.

It’s almost as if the Trump administration (who pressured Mexico for this change) wants me to use the Putin-aligned video site OK.ru…

A vpn is still cheaper than just one legal video provider that has ads.

A possibility, but I’ve never paid to sail the high seas. It feels… wrong :D Feels like if I am going to spend money to watch stuff, then I should spend it on legit sources.

That is understandable… One could use it for pirating stuff that is actually difficult to acquire legally. Like sports events in foreign countries or games not sold (anymore) in your country. And in general it’s just nice to have a good VPN. Movies and the likes are just a bonus…

I’ll keep it in mind, but probably rely on free options like OK, Youtube & “deep cut” P2P options that I hope the copyright brigade won’t go after, like ed2k & Soulseek (I’ve seen films & TV shows on there, not just audio). (Presuming they’ll focus on the biggies like Bittorrent & illicit streaming).
