Ironic considering your last 6 posts are Russian state media. Turning a critical eye to things that support our own preconceptions is hard for all of us I guess

There are plenty of great non-msm perspectives challenging traditional narratives in America/ the west. State sponsored media from a nation with very clear biases is not among them.

Saying “your sources of news are bad so I’m going to post equally bad ones from a different side” doesn’t help anyone, posting better sources does.

The whole notion of dismissing information because it’s from a state media source is so bonkers. You don’t have to accept their framing, and you can go look up other sources to get different perspectives on a particular piece of news. The reality is that any outlet will have its own biases and leanings. That doesn’t mean the news it reports should be discarded out of hand. I read mainstream western media every day, yet I hardly agree with any of their opinions.

Why get perspectives from the west? You’ll miss like 90% of the people in the world’s perspectives this way. The other way around its like 10% missed (and those 10% are mostly genociders)
