    The guy playing good cop isn’t supposed to threaten the person. Anything similar to a threat is phrased so that the “good cop” is protecting the person. Like, “Look, I am the only thing keeping my crazy partner from coming in here.” That sort of thing.

    Point being, the first two panels are both playing “bad cop.”

      Yes, the actual method should really be called “friendly cop/unfriendly cop”.

      …but then we’d be discussing whether a friendly person would really bring in someone unfriendly.

        Not bring him in, just like “hes real impatient, hopefully we can work something out just us two, I dont want to deal with him either”
