    WTF is their obsession with -oid?

    Like, I noticed similar on 4tran4 subreddit, they use nouns ending with -oid for some reason example “passoid” or in this case “foid” also I barely remember hearing “femoid” but like, so stupid

      There you go, you answered it yourself.

      It’s just like this post, the rational thing would be if you felt a fart coming on that you were worried might be stinky would be to excuse yourself to the restroom if possible. Then you could easily avoid the public shame you feel.

      But all of this is predicated on completely rejecting any and all attempts to better yourself. They don’t even have a Fight Club “to be your reason for going to the gym and keeping your hair cut short and cutting your nails” (to quote the book).

      They lean into every stupid fucking thing they can to make it worse for themselves on a deeply purposeful level. I feel like it’s especially prevalent in the USA is this weird thing where people want to be the victim so badly that they will literally do anything and everything to justify their preconceived notion of what a “victim” is and then try to live that way as hard as possible so they can be the victim they want so desperately to be. It’s somehow not shocking they would even lean into language that is so stupid that they can be the victim of people judging them for how idiotically they speak.

      It’s especially frustrating, because it’s basically cultural appropriation of actually victimized groups, and yet it’s never discussed in that capacity. DARVO has essentially become the norm in our society.
