Serious Sam was a wild first playthrough. Once you realised its just doom with everything up to 150% and the answer is almost always circlestrafing it lost its charm.
But the “Dude you have to try this” was real
Yeah, I still remember hearing distant screams slowly getting closer and being “Oh shit” about seeing a headless guy with one bomb in each hand.
