Have you seen r/animemes? or r/anime_irl? Or other subs like HoloLive, ZZZ or HonkaStarRail? That shit is full of horny ass motherfuckers. And these, as far as I understand, not supposed to be horny bait subs.
I honestly cant believe animemes is a gooner bait sub. To me it makes no sense at all. Guess most anime fans are gooners.
Here one might argue that I am generalizing. Fair point. But just judging by these subs - if majority of anime fans would not be easily goon baited, all of the anime subs would look entirely different. Yet, here we are.
God. The Genshin subreddit literally hated male characters for simply existing so much that official birthday art would get taken down/reported by the users/mods. I stuck with the GenshinGays and Genshin_Sapphic subreddits because at least I didn’t have to see Mona’s titties and Klee lolibait every 5 posts.
But for real, anime and game subreddits are just cancer (well, honestly they’re not perfect on Lemmy either…) and it’s impossible to find one that doesn’t dissolve into gooning and homophobia. Well, maybe besides Jojo.
