I’m curious what the Japanese devs think might be the problem with Steam in this case. I know dlsite has been the main place for trying to sell their own indie stuff
I remember several conversation on Twitter from Japanese dev.
They already consider Steam as monopoly, especially as Japanese PC game scene itself has already several competing store, from DMM, DLsite, Getchu, Melonbooks, Booth.pm, and so on.
