I’m watching The Chair Company which is Tim Robinson’s latest show. I can’t recommend it to everyone, but if you’re into his style of comedy, you’ll love this show. It’s framed as a serious mystery drama, but there’s so many rediculous jokes sprinkled in I can’t help but laugh in spite the serious tone.
I was really into it, until the lack of football. I need to have football. Why is there no football?
Hal & Harper
Saw that it had Ruffalo and went in blind. One of my favorite series. Raw, comical, emotional, and a pretty interesting directing component throughout as well.
If any others have seen it or are in the process of watching it, I’d love to hear what you think!
I watched the first episode of Pluribus last night and I thought it was awesome. It felt like a mystery that was well-telegraphed enough that by the end when all is revealed I already knew everything down to the numbers. I only hope the rest of the show is as good. I highly recommend going in blind.
So far it’s holding up well. I’m loving it.
I have started my first ever watch through of The X-Files. First few episodes have already pulled me in and I’m excited for the whole run.
Oh man, I am jealous of that! Xfiles was the corner stone of 90s TV for me.
Bosch, it’s really good.
Started Plur1bus. Not bad. Finished The Lowdown, also. Both recommended.

Stranger Things
I am doing a complete rewatch in advance of the upcoming final season. It is so good. I will bummed when it ends.

Slow Horses
It is such a great show but man the seasons are really short.

Fallout.
I am doing a rewatch in advance of the next season and it is so good. I was really surprised by how much I enjoyed this show. It had so many things going against it, it was a Video Game adaptation and an Amazon show. The production team nailed it.
Shows that I have discontinued:

Gen V
I did the first couple seasons of The Boys and grew bored of it. The gags quickly grew stale and the exploding heads lost the shock value. Also I had enough awkward nudity.
Gen V season 1 was good. It had a lot of same tropes and like the show it spun off from had great characters.
Second season went the same way as The Boys. Same shit different day or maybe better said, same exploding dick different day.
The Slow Horses seasons might be on the short side, but man do they have a fast production schedule compared to pretty much everything else nowadays. Looking at the release dates here it seems like for all 5 seasons there were less than a year gap between the last episode of one and the first episode of the next season. We got 4 seasons of Slow horses in a shorter time period than between the first and second Severance seasons.
Second season went the same way as The Boys. Same shit different day or maybe better said, same exploding dick different day.
Yeah, they definitely went overboard adding grapic explicit scenes in basically every episode just for the sake of it.
I’m really enjoying It - Welcome to Derry. The title sequence alone is so worth watching!
just watched malice and it was a good watch. Not a must watch but not bad. Curious what they will do with season 2.
