So… I’ve been meaning to have an actual conversation with someone about this, but isn’t this kind of the way everybody here feels about the right wing?

Like… Aren’t they also kind of stupid, kind of weak, and kind of incredibly dangerous?

The “leaders” may be stupid and incompetent, but not weak.

The ones with real power are at least somewhat intelligent, which is why they prefer to stay in the background and let the figureheads take the hatred and threats.

Project 2025 was not written by Trump or Musk, yet it is being implemented. It would be reasonable to believe that the people who wrote it are also the people with the real power, and they are not weak or incompetent.

I feel like I’m losing connection to the right but I think they get more consistent. Like we have blue hair, we’re overweight, were whinny

    1. That really falls into both categories, I’ve known plenty of 30 year old conservatives living in their parents basement and simply not trying to do better.
    2. I wish that was true
    3. the elites of either party are grifters. Period.

those things aren’t mutually exclusive tho. but i think they better fit the Maga cultists.

however, any group of significant size likely has ppl falling into one of each of those categories.
