Surprised to see professions like this survive while so many other technical fields have died out in favor of simply producing newer (worse) stuff.
Practical effects studios are all shut down, animation is all outsourced to mostly mainland asia, film crews dont even worry about lighting or composition anymore becaus everything is done in post.
Which is why it all looks like dogshit. If it weren’t for the bad physics AI would generate better lighting then any random movie made in the past 15 years
