    I’m not sure how that would demonstrate democracy is a scam? In Los Angeles County (might vary by county, not sure) you just have to fill out a one page form with basic contact information and submit it to be a write-in candidate. That doesn’t seem like a huge hurdle.

    In California at least, being a registered candidate also lets you give a statement about your political stances that gets printed in the election information booklet that gets mailed to all voters. So it would be kind of dumb to not register, when it’s both simple and gives you free voter outreach.

    Edit: if you mean the states with no write-ins at all that makes more sense lol

      No no it’s much better if you left 300 Million people free from writing their own info.

      It’s funnier that way.

      Guarantee you’d have 10% for “Trump”. 10% for Donny Trump, some for “Brandon”, and so-on and none would count because none are his legal name.

      I would love to see who would win though. Spell the name perfectly and in good penmanship or it doesn’t count. Let’s see if he still loves the poorly educated.
