Rhea’s playing Carol pretty spot-on, a 1:1 fish out of water in a new, yet familiar world.

Meanwhile Karolina’s Zosia is a 1:many role, and the fact that it doesn’t stick out like a sore thumb, is a testament to her pulling off the role well.

See, I’m not sure about that. Shouldn’t she be acting a bit strange?

I do get what you’re saying, she’s not doing it poorly which would stick out in a wholly different way. But it feels bland whereas it could be… I dunno, something more. I think the closest we’ve got to what I’m trying to describe is the we/I pronoun thing. There ought to be some janky mannerisms to her, no?

I think the strangeness is subtly there, but in a manner that seems to suit the character and situation, rather than strangeness in an actor struggling to embody such a character.

I agree the I/we pronoun jankiness was largely glanced over due to the time skip, but the zone-out and twitch right before the “You’re going to have a visitor” line was pretty damned well pulled off.

I thought Carol maybe figured out a way to get the person back for a second by making Them focus on their hosts originality.
