The man was a dictator, obviously the people will be conflicted how to feel about this situation, especially since nobody has any idea what will happen now. Just because you’re invaded by another country doesn’t mean you also can’t celebrate if they manage to dethrone your tyrant leader you wished dead anyway. This doesn’t mean they have to support the invasion or be okay with it by any means. The world isn’t black and white
People need to learn from history. Every time major powers are involved countries are destroyed. I don’t see many venezuelan reject outside intervention
I didn’t make any claims against that. Obviously attacking a sovereign nation and abducting their leader is against international law, and completely fucked up in general
The dictator was kidnapped by a war criminal called Trump who have his own Gestapo kidnapping people from the street and is clear about controlling the country using oil companies.
That doesn’t change the fact that the dictator got taken down. If USA was invaded and Trump was taken, a lot of people would celebrate that but still want to kick the shit out of the invaders
It doesn’t change the fact that under international laws kidnapping another president even if a dictator is illegal . It doesn’t change the fact that Trump is openly saying they will run another country . I saw nobody clearly stating we reject American invaders in any article or video for people celebrating
When will you realise both of you are right fucking hell this back and forth is painful, nothing one of you is saying excludes the other from also being right
No it’s more like “hey honey, they finally cut the big brain tumor out! It looks like it’s spread in my lungs too though so I’ll still probably die later, but at least the seizures stopped for now”
I’m not assuming improvement, I’m pointing out people can have conflicting feelings and opinions about something. I can’t believe I have to try to explain why people would rejoice about a dictator being gone
If that’s what you got from what I was trying to say, I really don’t know what to tell you. I’ll just note that I’m not trying to defend USAs actions against international law if that’s also too difficult to understand, personally I’d like to see all dictators, Maduro, Putin, Trump, whoever holds tyrannical power and uses it to oppress and murder, be trialed and hanged for their crimes against humanity. But that’s a fleeting dream in this world

I am criticizing the Venezuelans who celebrate knowing very well the USA will steal their resources
And I’m pointing out they’re not celebrating USA stealing their resources but their dictator being taken down

“honey good news, we don’t have to worry about my early parkison diagnosis… they just found a terminal, stage 4 cancer, in my brain”
that’s your stance right now
No it’s more like “hey honey, they finally cut the big brain tumor out! It looks like it’s spread in my lungs too though so I’ll still probably die later, but at least the seizures stopped for now”
again you are assuming an improvement… where is your evidence of that happening?
the orange turd is actively dismanteling healthcare and education in murica but you seem to think héln rebuild hospitals in Venezuela?
he is persecuting his political rivals in murica but he’ll certainly allow free speech in Venezuela, right?
he is fucking deporting muricans to be tortured but sure, he will respect personal safety of Venezuelans?
I’m not assuming improvement, I’m pointing out people can have conflicting feelings and opinions about something. I can’t believe I have to try to explain why people would rejoice about a dictator being gone
no, your comments clearly assume improvement… nothing will be better under trump as a colonizer… not even the stuff thah was terrible under a dictator
