Before you say it: I do use Adblock on my computer but sometimes YouTube updates their site to make those not work, and sometimes I browse on my phone which doesn’t have Adblock

Apple doesn’t allow you browser choice. It’s not actually Firefox in that context. It’s webkit with a different skin.

Actually, you CAN have adblock on Apple. Kagi’s browser, Orion, has the option for extensions like Ublock Origin.

Thank you! Struggled with only Brave as an option which I would rather not use.

For anyone else, you do not need a Kagi account, just change the default search provider in the settings.

iOS is different because all browsers are basically Safari but with a different skin. You can install Firefox but the version with the more privacy built in called Firefox Focus. It installs an extension called Firefox Focus. It will block ads in Safari and Firefox.

You need to enable it under settings > apps > safari > extensions.

Damn, wish I knew this while I was stuck on iOS. I hated Safari and refused to use it so I just lived with ads until I started using NextDNS
