Cool, I’ll continue to not buy their games, but even moreso.

They say this new model for how Ubisoft works will be centred on “Open World Adventures and GaaS-native experiences, supported by targeted investments, deeper specialization, and cutting-edge technology” and of course “accelerated investments behind player-facing Generative AI”.

TLDR further enshittification.

Have they considered just making good games that are fun and playable without constant monetization? That strategy seems to be working great for indies.

I wish they’d just shutdown entirely already at this point :/
