If you tried to set up a nation on stolen land to segregate a specific ethnicity away from everyone else everyone would rightfully call it insane, but that’s exactly what israel is. What do you mean with giving control back to Palestinians? Should they take over the government of Israel and unify it with their current territory/government? What would happen with Israelis? You think those people will all of a sudden get along?
You don’t even have to do that. Make Palestinians actual citizens with voting rights, let democracy run it’s course. It would end with dissolution of Israel as it is now and nobody can say they weren’t given the voice.
