The gist is Ice Cube works at the NSA or similar and has Watch Dogs style hacking on everyone which he then uses to coordinate an anti alien-invasion attack from Microsoft Teams (they really want you to know it’s Microsoft teams). Thats basically the whole plotline

Frankly that’s a movie that should never be remade. The original is of it’s time, like the story. No need to go revamping it.

It was worth hate watching, in my opinion. I was openly laughing at the product placement by the end.
That sounds like one of those movies that’s so bad it’s good.
That feels exactly how it was for me. Wanted to stop but had this morbid fascination with it.
