    The last thing our three headed beast of a tech sector wants is Linux to take off, especially right now. It’s not just about the Steam Deck, but everything Valve is bankrolling and developing.

      Idk, most companies that aren’t Microsoft would probably prefer a better platform than Windows to be chained to.

        I dount they see it that way. More fingers and lockdown means more DRM. I feel like alot of things like removing headphone jacks and pushing to more data connection and not just video for monitors is part of a lomg term attempt to kill the “analog hole”.

        You already have some media that doesn’t work with Firefox. How long until media only works on a device with kernel level DRM up through encryption in the headphones. Remeber to scan your fingerprint first too, so we know who is listening.
