Randall P. Girdner, online comic artist of Maurice Comics, launched a project in 2025 - the Sunday Comix Collective. Gathering webcomic artists from Reddit, Blue Sky, Instagram and more, he plans to upend the era of social media artists begging algorithms for views.

How is a comic artist supposed to make money if they don’t have an audience? Corporate platforms are probably their best shot to ever reach enough people to potentially make their comics profitable. Hate the system, but the infighting and name calling is cruel and helps no one
