You’ve been able to lease electronics forever. I leased a vr headset and a PC for a month and found it was a great deal. I could see cases where someone would want a ps5 for a few months and at $10 a month thats not bad at all.

I dont know how the games would work though. The PC I rented came with like 30 games pre installed.
