My live reaction of that ending scene:
Oh no. Oh no. Oh nonononono.
Minori was right, her journal should have been read after Asa was an adult, experienced similar failings, and empathized with her mother’s struggles.
Now unsure how Asa will “rebel” against all of this that she is confusing with disapproval and the [accidental?] neglect.
But really happy they addressed Makio’s neurodivergence. I am unsure how Minori suffered masking all those years. Especially as a forced parent.
