You’re thinking of Strattera (which is worse for adhd than stimulants). Basically every other adhd medication is a stimulant and while they can be formulated in ways that are better for medication than fun it’s usually by making them release slowly and consistently resulting in a milder effect for a longer time. That said, doing that was what perdue pharma said made oxycontin not addictive.
Yeah strattera is trash. Shit made me feel weird. I had to stop taking it after a week because, aside from the depersonalization and body load, it also.made my heart feel like it was going to self destruct
Yeah I slept through a family vacation as a kid. And it should be noted that we both had adverse reactions. While I’d normally recommend people start with a stimulant, they’ve become really hard to consistently get lately to the point that I’m recommending my wife start with it.
I think they just said it to sell it. I knew people in recovery who would have doctors prescribe it to them and tell them it was safe and non-addictive.
Honestly, the people I knew that liked other opiates usually said they hated tramadol. But I also knew a handful of folks that never got into other opiates and really liked abusing tramadol.

Ah, the ol’ time release trick.
Not quite the same, but they used to tell us Tramadol wasn’t habit forming either.
Why, because street users would fuck up titration and kill themselves‽ That shit is the least I’ve ever minded hives.
