Been using GNOME since ~ 3.8/3.10 (so i guess a while now) and out of the box it mostly just works for me. I have maybe 3-4 extensions none of which I desperately rely on (although TopIcons is clutch) and I agree with most design choices.
I’ve thought about switching some times but I think all I would do is try to replicate my GNOME workflow elswhere so why bother?
