I don’t think the politics of the porn can actually address the root problem, which is that we’re seen as inherently pornographic. It’s probably less bad for the porn to have good politics, but I don’t know if that’s actually the best solution to the problem. We need a lot more non-pornographic representation, but we probably also need less pornographic representation along with it.
The politics of the porn might even be irrelevant to the problem, because the problem is that our existence is X-rated. Whether the porn has good or bad politics won’t actually change whether or not they believe we need to be kept away from children.

I don’t know how much it would actually effect it either way but it definitely determines whether whatever narrative and characterization is present implies it. If it’s furry porn it is way less likely to have the typical hentai theme of woman + penis = uncontrollable sexual aggression for instance.
