    The Bengali word for multiplication is গুন, which is pronounced like goon. As the uncle with a math degree, I’m sometimes asked to help my nephews with their math homework. They’re in high school. They can’t stop grinning when we talk about multiplication. Brainrot is truly cross-cultural, I guess.

    In EvE Online, Goonswarm Federation usually goes by Imperium these days to crib GamesWorkshops branding for 40k and to get away from their old leader and past problomatic branding… For an online army of 10k angry nerds, got to look presentable…

    I will admit, online names used to have a bit more leaniency for being immature.
