I am a guy from southern germany. I like scouting, trains and computers. Politically, I would consider myself as a democratic socialist.
(For anyone wondering, yes this is from the same guy, as !DeckPacker@piefed.blahaj.zone)

  • Yeah, I get that.

I mean, what she did was still pretty bad, just the fact that she was totally willing to do that, so I get the other peoples reaction.

I mean, the reaction of her one friend (I don’t remember her name), was a bit overblown, but she had pretty good reasons to (with her cousin and stuff).

I like, that she never tried to justify it in any way, she was like “Yeah, it was really messed up, and I can’t justify it”, but also she changed and grew, so she really regretted it. I think her problem was, that it is really hard to properly communicate how she has changed. And it would probably have been a better idea to talk to her partner about this and not all her friends.

And also her partner had a really hard time trying to accept this, he tried to justify it to himself. He should have been much more caring and supportive. I think he realized this towards the end.

  • Yeah, I feel like I am the same way with theaters. There is so much great stuff out there, if you dare to look in smaller theaters and are willing to take a risk and enjoy movies on their own terms.

Some other movies, I saw recently which I really liked were “Love me tender”, “The chronology of water” and of course “Marty Surpreme” was also a fun thrillride.

I’ve also seen “The Drama” pretty recently, but it worked really well for me, I chuckled a lot while watching it. And I also could tell, that the other people in the theater really enjoyed it, which made me enjoy it even more.

But it’s a loaded subject, and I can understand if some people don’t vibe with that, especially if they have made experiences with something like that themselves. I luckily don’t live in America, so this is not as much of a reality to me, I guess. But I still liked that the movie still didn’t gloss over the subject, I felt like it dealt with it in a mature, but also humerous way.

I am curious, how did you react to the movie, that made you not enjoy it as much?
