Looking forward to putting it on my shelf

After years of being on Linux, i never realised how cynical i gotten with windows until i randomly have to use it
Linux aren’t perfect either, but I feel more tolerant on design decisions caused by unintentional mistakes rather than what feels like intentional manipulation
Safe to say, I’m always grateful Linux exists everytime I have to use windows again

Back when I used Windows 10 and 11 for a bit, I did indeed use winget
It was… Okay. I did find it is quicker and often just safer to install programs with it, no problems there, but installing programs unattended? I couldn’t do it reliably
A few problems that occurred was: requesting admin permission at beginning or near the end of the program’s install, uncommonly some programs would just… Fail to install, and programs like Unity would automatically update to the latest which absolutely what should not just happen, even if it is managed by Unity Hub (A workaround is pinning Unity which worked well). I just couldn’t update my programs while i do something else which is what i usually do, it felt like the whole “waiting for Windows to update” for package managers
Updating programs can be done, but I found myself waiting around the computer instead of trusting it to do it successfully
I find myself enjoying anime for the animation style alone, not once I thought about wanting it recreated into a liveaction series. But when I do try watch a live action remake, I found it to be the most disappointing, with the art direction and the animated expressions not properly being supplemented to something else from the directors. I remember seeing the live action remake of Death Note, and thought how they tried to act like anime characters outside of the anime medium, finding it to be really, really unnatural
Does anyone know of a good live-action remake? I am open to the idea, but admittedly I’ve seen pretty bad ones 😅
