well with the horribly written bash and curl it includes, wouldn’t surprise me at this point.

so it’s like every other telltale game. I mean, that’s how all of them have been.

yeah try turning off the hardware accelration on the browser…which browser btw?
if the hardware accelration doesn’t work check the Lutris forums and/or discord to see if anyone has come across the issue. Have you tried running ESO via steam at all? potentially could also check it via protondb.com if you try to run it via steam.
Generally though there should be scripts with Lutris to install it correctly. But i’d still check with the Lutris forum/discord (they’re really nice and helpful dudes) if the browser thing doesn’t work.

yeah probably hardware accelration on the browser. could also be the DE/WM you’re using on it.
What desktop environment and/or window manager is she using on the laptop?
if Fortnite is a crucial element for you, and it sounds like it is, you’re going to have to dual boot.
Games like Fortnite, League of Legends, Valorant, Apex Legends, recent Battlefields, etc aren’t going to work on Linux due to the fact Epic, Riot and EA decided kernel level anti-cheats were their “best” options.
That being said the majority of games work on Linux and especially via Steam.
As far as Distros go Bazzite is primarily focused on gaming. If you want something that will do both gaming and work stuff then I’d suggest CachyOS. It’s fast, very fast, great for both work and gaming. It will give you plenty of options for Desktop Environments on install and I would suggest you install it with KDE Plasma so you have a bit of familiarity coming from Windows.
I recently tried Gentoo, I liked it, dare I say I loved it. The problem is, I don’t have time for it. I would love to use it as a daily driver on my main rig but due to my work it would never fly.
I am however thinking of putting it on my server where I just don’t need to spend time with it. I can compile and and just let it be while I do something else.

I imagine this is in response to the fact that developers discovered that when users added their games to the wishlist steam didn’t notify followers when said games released.

“Ah - I see the problem now! you’re trying to access xnxx to search for step-sister porn but you’re getting step-mom porn instead! here’s what you typed in the search bar…”
I must have gotten Warhammer 40k because I know all about the lore, I can tell you all the details of the Horus Heresy, I can give you all the info on Lorgar and Erebus (fucking asshole), everything.
I have no clue how to play the actual game, I don’t own any miniatures, I’ve never painted one. I just read the books and watch hours long lore dump videos.
