One vague rumor suggested the memory pricing hill might be leveling off; sadly Valve might be paying upfront for it still, but at least it won’t get worse.
No source? Who is that person? So nobody needs to listen to it. It’s a rumor, vague, from a single source and just a suggestion (sounds like an opinion rather than deep analysis). My point is, nobody knows and nobody can make predictions what will happen. Everyone has their opinion.
Sorry the vague source was spread by me when I sarcastically mentioned it and like a game of telephone that morphed into being a source to mention off hand in comments.

…I mean, yes, which is why I lead with those 4 words. I’m hoping nobody is making critical stock bets based on Lemmy comments. It’s more of a “nice possibility” to make us hopeful we can buy PCs sometime.
