Since you know the source, let me pick your brain for a second: What’s with the “goblins only live for seven days” in the synopsis? Is that a typo and they mean 7 years, or where do Goblins get the energy and mass from to grow to that size in only 7 days?
Magic is omnipresent, so I assume that plays a role somehow.
Tbh I always thought the 7 days thing was a little too hard to swallow. It’s otherwise a good read though, so I always pretended like it was a few months at least.

As I remember, the science of the 7 day lifecycle is handwaved, but the cause of cycle is plot relevant.
