Hi, wasn’t sure where to ask , my last non laptop was a pentium 75. Friend bring this monster over. Apperantly there is a Samsung drive somewhere that would need to be changed. Mostly because no one can figure out where the issue is an just hoping its the drive. Feeling stupid trying to figure out where it is 😃. Issue is bootloops randomly. Drive have been formatted before with a little change to the better for a while. I was gonna say software issue but thats not it ive been told. All temps normal. All i can see is the kingston and i dont want to remove anything i dont have to. Checked connections, taking another look at the rams also . Any ideas? Both for where the drive is hiding and guesses where the issue origins from thanks

It’s an M.2 or NVME drive (basically same thing). It looks like it’s under that white rectangle in the bottom left of your image (it’s a little fuzzy so hard to say for sure). They have a heatsink on top of them held down with a screw. You just undo that screw and it can pop right out. The heatsink can peel off and be attached to the new M.2/Nvme.

With that said, my experience with bootloops is usually more of an issue with the BIOS. I would try updating that or reflashing it if it was recently updated.
