Let me know if you have suggestions for short phrases that could excite people enough to investigate solarpunk.
I live in a city with a city Hall that looks like that. Every year they clear the common of homeless people in order to draw people to the city for Christmas season. Clearly the city managers think it would be a bad look with all those underprivileged people around spoiling the holiday vibe. Because I’m oppositionally defiant and have strong feelings about the use of my tax dollars in this way, I’d take great joy in seeing someone projecting “Hail Satan” on that building during peak festivities.
Love that. Thanks for sharing. I can also say they sometimes light up this Ferry Building in Christmas colors, which happen to be the colors of the Palestinian flag. When I project Free Palestine then, it is color coordinated and makes it seem the city is in on it.
Also trying to speak to homelessness here.

@14th_cylon @AEMarling They cancelled that show.
Aw, they used to show that on the Space Channel in TO every Canadian Thanksgiving. Because it was such a “turkey.”
It was awful, but I miss it. I think a very poor quality episode 1 is available on Youtube. (last I checked)
There is no Planet B.
King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard are an amazing band
I really like this.
@AEMarling possible altText for this image - can be added: “off-white building with clock tower shows the following message projected onto it: a better world is possible, hashtag solarpunk: antidote to capitalism”
that’s cool. might be super effective to throw stuff up like that around outside lands while it’s on, if you’re able to plan that far ahead. is this right in front of mozilla & xitter? lol
