    well, as we all know, laying eggs doesn’t matter at all since mammals are the „boobie-animals“. they were named after the mammary glands and since humans like platypuses have mammary glands, they must be mammals despite laying eggs…

    there was once an attempt to define life. they ended up agreeing that a living thing is alive if it can procreate… then one replied that technically, that means that a single rabbit isn’t alive but a couple are.

        the problem is that’s it’s fucking hard to make a definition about “being alive”.

        and the more scientific esoteric ones are interesting, like adding steps in thermodynamic cascades, or theories based on chaos theory, or information theory… because other conventional definition fails some way or another.
