I’m still not sure why viruses aren’t considered to be alive.
They’re really interesting things. An intrusive, malicious payload that only needs to find the appropriate host in order to multiply itself
no metabolism, by themselves, they are inert. yet it can still evolve.
it’s an edge case of life.
