I’m curious how the anime is going to handle the pacing of what I remember was in this portion of the manga. (Trying to be vague to avoid spoilers).

This first episode of this cour already felt like a scattering of checklist items vs a narrative beat. I know you get some of that with the partnership and the end of the episode.

I remember it going super fast in the manga as well. If I had to guess, probably this pacing probably continues for what might be 1-2 more episodes.

The manga talks about this a bit better, but the whole thing with levels is, it isn’t enough you got roughly the material you want to make something. You need it prepared to high purity, specific dimensions, with proper strength, all that thing. And for that you need… well, modern tech. They’ll speed it up because they already know what they want (and how to get it), but even then it’s going to be a lot of work.

Glad Dr. Xeno joined the team though. Otherwise Senku and the gang would be stuck in Pará forever.
