I really just didn’t want him to invite toxicity with people responding to him. It was less about the comment itself and more about what it might invite.
Given their post history and entries in the modlogs, I’d say probably not. (and the fact they have a significant number of alt accounts all with the same username that also have significant numbers of entries in the modlogs)
