It’s not so Iran can make more money, it’s for Russia. Also it helped distract us from the fact that indicted bibi is continuing with a 2nd genocide for his Greater Israel sideproject.
Actually yes, because this allows him to regroup, move slow moving carrier groups into position and secure oil supplies/put measures in place to keep at least Red Sea/Suez open when he continues it. Possibly also see who at CENTCOM has been reluctant to carry out war crimes, and do some more replacements there.
I can’t believe how people are falling for it, every time he pumps and dumps. This isn’t going to stop. It will only get worse. One guy is a blackmailed pedophile with demential and the biggest nuclear arsenal, the other is a criminal delusional religious radical who would rather die, than give up this Greater Israel crusade.
I’ll be another few years before we get to Christmas.
The problem for Trump is that he couldn’t continue escalating the war without causing a global recession. As much as his wealthy backers want to destroy Iran, they can’t stomach such a crisis. It would seriously hurt the US ability to project power and would fast track American decline. I agree that he’s crazy and stupid enough to still do it. However, he probably one of the dumbest people in the White House. Even his cabinet of sycophants has to know when to push back. If he went forward with his attacks on Iranian energy infrastructure it would have ruined them as well.
To be clear this is copy and pasted but it is critical information about the motivations behind our aggression towards Iran that doesn’t depend on the dubious claim that Russia secretly controls the largest economic and military power of the last century.
To be entirely clear, a large contingent of the US ruling class has been frothing at the mouth to invade Iran for decades. It should not be surprising that it happened and we should not blame our governments aggression on foreigners. That rhetoric is a useful tool to reduce the fury you should rightfully feel towards our rulers.
I favor the theory that it was now or never.
They’ve overused sanctions and have kickstarted dedollarization. For the same reason they kidnapped Maduro, they only had few years before it reached an irreversible tipping point. They had to capture Iran’s oil and monopolize it to keep the petrodollar alive.
And.
Iran was becoming a harder and harder target to attack militarily, and it had just defeated their attempt at color revolution by demonstrating it could defeat their Starlink operation on the ground. The longer they waited, the more rockets and missiles Iran would have to retaliate against US assets. The post-color revolutionary period was actually the weakest Iran would ever be ever again.
And.
China is a rising juggernaut, and Iran plays a role in that rise. They’ve signed on to join the Belt and Road initiative, China was key to restoring relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia, Iran is a key oil supplier for China, Iran is a member of BRICS, and China has also been investing heavily in Iran’s infrastructure. It wouldn’t be long before the sanctions didn’t even matter anymore because Iran will be able to sell and buy everything it needs without the West.
And.
Israel is no longer a viable settler project. The promise of Israel was that it would be a walled garden in the wilderness, an imperial core lifestyle with superior fire power and a perfect missile defense system and an omniscient surveillance system. Hamas blew that myth up during the Al Aqsa flood, now Israel isn’t getting new settlers anymore and many settlers are trying to leave. It’s why they’ve had to ban Israelis from flying out of the country. If the Axis of Resistance isn’t destroyed, Israel is finished.
And I’m sure there’s more. Basically, if Iran doesn’t fall within the next few months, the US empire will begin an irreversible decline.

Don’t forget, this was also a distraction for the Epstein files release and the fact that he raped children.
Americans shitting the bed in the Middle East every day for fifty years
“Yeah, uh, actually that was Russia. Russia did that.”
ART OF THE DEAL BABY

Buckle up
China was a rising juggernaut twenty years ago.
They’re the lynchpin of the global economy today.
It’s literally going to pay for the destruction of this war and the complicity of those that stood by and watched.
