        True, but this was a play specifically on Hindu Yogis not the general Hindu population where many are vegetarian as part of their non-violence beliefs.

        It’s also a regional thing. You go from ‘eat no meat’ in northwest India to ‘eat all meat, including beef’ in the east and far south.
