I wasn’t even the mod involved in this until they decided to spew abuse at me in a completely unrelated community that I do mod. Ugh. Why are people like this, and why are so many of them on this platform?

Edit: If this is too close to the spirit of rule 5, I apologize and no hard feelings if you remove it. Trying to make a general point here and anonymized all the identifying bits.

Edit 2: Some of you recognized the user despite my attempts to anonymize things. While it’s all there in the modlog, please don’t doxx the user as I’m only highlighting the behavior and have already reported them via proper/official channels and shown them the door for the little communities I run.

    Also account deletion.

    That person went really off the rails in DMs, and all I did was comment.

    They should learn to deal with facts before they go suggesting others struggle with “opinions”.

    For anyone unaware, this was the user that posted “autism isn’t real” in unpopularopinion and basically got told “that’s just ignorance, not an opinion”.
