Occasionally creates a mess of horrific liquids in unexpected places

Will wake you up at random times with inexplicable noises

Will only accept extremely specific kinds of ‘food’

Will have an existential crisis when another of its kind is introduced to the home environment

Is constantly spying on you (look up printer tracking dots)

Obligatory fuck HP. Also, get an ink tank printer, changed my world for home printing, still only halfway through the first fill, after a couple of years and hundreds of pages.

Or get a black and white laser printer if you’re mainly printing text and not photos. Laser printed text is much sharper and more readable, plus the toner can’t dry up (it’s already a dry powder) the way ink does (this is why inkjet printers do so many “cleaning” cycles).

Mine happens to be an epsom ecotank, I’ve found the software ok, no weird behaviour or restrictions and the ink is lasting really well.
