Using Lenin for communism jokes is kinda outdated and gives some bad vibes. Aren’t there any other fresh figures for it available or they haven’t born yet?
It’s not like there have been successful communism or socialist states that weren’t authoritarian hellholes. Soviet union wasn’t even communist, it was one-party authoritarian state which goes against the core idea of communism or socialism (power was for the state, not distributed in society/between workers)

I totally agree. That is why we need to, at least, create a fixtional character as a good example for it, rather than using bad examples of reality. I mean something like a mascot.
