Just got into UB, Mongolia.
First time having horse jerky since Italy a decade ago. I still like it.

I feel like saying Ulaanbaatar is fun enough to compensate for the inconvenience. Also, TIL that Mongolia uses Cyrillic.
Ulaanbaatar is an undeniably great name, although i hear the local name everyone uses is Khot, meaning “city”, which is great too.

Haha, i believe it! grass-fed meat often seems to lend a mild spice to the meat, that i can taste here. Reminds me of grass-fed bison/venison.
Italian horse jerky was a little sweet for me, almost candied.
