Also, just with Steam sales, the amount of money you save is pretty impressive. Lastly, when that pc dies, my next pc will still be able to play all the games from the previous pc. Not quite the case with consoles. All around, pc is a clear winner. Did I mention I installed Bazzite? It rocks. Microslop gets to eat a bag of dicks and to me, that’s worth all the money in the world.
minus-squareYellowParenti@lemmy.wtflinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up20·1 day agoI bought a replacement video card on 2019. It was replacing my 10 year old card. When I built my new PC, it was replacing a pc I begrudgingly installed win7 on. I have emulators from up to PS2. Pc gaming has crazy ROI.

PCs are even more expensive, but the gaming value over time is huge, especially if you factor in 🏴☠️.
