Just depends on the user. Back then when I was using TikTok, my feed was filled with liberals, leftists, and independents. No conservatives or Maga in sight. If people saw right wing content that unfortunately just means they were interacting with it

What, the CCP, having already previously used TikTok as a propaganda tool to push narratives that support their interests, proactively supported the side that would help ruin their biggest foreign adversary? WHO coulda thunk it.

You’re still blaming china? For revealing the reality of genocide?

TikTok is literally owned by a zionist. This is what the libs wanted. Huge gift to AIPAC.

Are you serious? Tiktok was owned by a Chinese company. It was only recently forced to sell its US operations

Hikvision, a Chinese state-owned company, supplies surveillance equipment on West Bank Palestinians. China continues to deny that it has been committing genocide in Uyghurstan for over a decade. China has destroyed my home and turned it into a facsimile where the words “national security” appear every 5 minutes in every part of society and made it so that the March of the Volunteers is mandated on every television channel twice a day.

If China gave a fuck about Palestine or Iran or any sort of civilian life, it would have done something to support the oppressed and work towards a peace deal, instead of funding Russia to bomb civilians in Ukraine. If China had any sort of moral backbone, it would stop oppressing its own citizenry to the point where people have been arrested for holding up a blank piece of paper. If China had any foot to stand on, it wouldn’t be literally hosting Donald Trump and praising MAGA a week ago, before turning around to host Vladimir fucking Putin.

And yes, I have fucking sources too.

The article posted refers to 2024, TikTok didn’t agree to sell to Oracle until 2025 and the full handover didn’t take effect until this year. For the purposes of this post, it was indeed conceivably China behind this effort.

If you’re not blaming China, you’re falling for the “All world powers suck except my favorite one” trope.

        In actuality, they all suck.

Are we still using the “I had to support fascism to save palestine” lie?

Like does Palestine look saved to you? Does the fact that you helped murder those Iranian children not weigh on your conscience. How long until some of yiu admit you got conned by an obvious propaganda?

Why would you post a pay walled study?

It doesn’t even show the abstract, this post is pointless except to people who only read headlines and never understand anything…

What I can read of the posted link states it’s a summary of this open access article.

        Right…

And if OP had linked that, it would have made sense.

Instead they linked a pay walled summary of something that people could actually read. Which was pointless.

        Edit:

Likely due to OP “headline shopping”…

The one people can actual read would have had to be titled:

Systematic partisan content skews in TikTok during the 2024 US elections

OP wanted something that looked like an academic study but had a editorialized headline…

And if you want that, you can’t link real studies, the best you can do is summaries, which are published like a study but isn’t abstudy

Libs were desperate to stop TikTok and then they immediately handed it over to zionists. What else do you expect from a genocidal cult?

Tik Tok users claimed that there was an attack on Tik Tok, and that it was the last bastion of free speech and anti-censorship, and then claimed they were right when ByteDance kicked them off temporarily so they could “see” how American ownership would equate to censorship. And all this happened after the election was already “won”.
