I don’t think she got what she wanted. I think she’s miserable. She just wanted the money, but now she has responsibilities because technically she’s the first lady. I’m sure, she would have divorced him a long time ago if he wasn’t president.

Wait, is there some American law that forbids the first lady to divorce a president? Also what about the 4 years between his two terms?

It seems like she has exactly what she wants.

No law, but she would likely be killed in the streets if she even attempted it by insane fanatics. That’s not even remotely a joke either. Its an extremely real possibility.

No, no law against it. I think she doesn’t want to risk upsetting his fanatic followers. And in between his terms they were still in the public eye.

Uhm…So… Why isn’t she divorcing him if she’s not happy?

Your argument was that she is a first lady, therefore she cannot divorce a president, but turns out that’s not the case.

So she didn’t get what she wanted. She’s miserable. There are no laws stopping her divorcing him, but according to you she won’t do it because she cares about trump’s followers? Or do you think she’s scared for her life?

Some people simply can’t see women having any authority/accountability in their life. It’s the same with JD’s wife, or until recently, Erika Kirk. I think it’s a form of misogyny. These are not “poor little women” stuck with their husbands. They know exactly what they wanted, and they got it. They’re also pieces of shit.

The scared for her life thing. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t empathise with her, I think she deserves to be miserable. But I don’t think she has an option for divorce right now.

      I’m paraphrases something I read a while ago but…

She was born not ugly and had access to a plastic surgeon. Her goal was to likely to marry some rich old schmuck who can’t get it up, then spend the next 10-15 years sitting by fancy private resort pools popping pills, getting drunk, fucking the pool boys until the inevitable divorce and she ends up with a decent payout, rinse repeat. Now, she has to travel for diplomatic shit, stand by the side of someone she loathes for events and photo ops, and has to do the usual “first lady” campaigns…doing more work in the first 6 months than she’s done in her entire life up to that point. To give you an idea of how much effort she puts into it, Michelle Obama’s campaign was Be Better. Hers was Be Best.

But if he wasn’t president, she wouldn’t have to spend as much time with him, so there would be no reason for divorce…
