    Writing in “anyone else” is still voting. I’m not saying that you should show you’re willing to vote for anyone with a D next to their name, I’m saying you should show you’re willing to vote at all. Not every non voter shares your opinion, some just don’t care.

      See I like talking voting with people like you. I’m on the side of voting is worth doing, but I’m not fine with anyone saying “You either support my party or you might as well have not voted” like OP tells people. That’s reductionist, something they seem to hate people who dislike the major parties doing.

        In general for me it’s

        Harm reduction vote (D) > voting 3rd party > not voting > voting for nazis ®

        I get it’s frustrating to see all this fucking shit happen because because people just didn’t want to vote for some tiny reason (it’s almost like getting the approval of ~180M people is hard).

        But I also recognize that moving something back left is important. Showing that there are people who literally get off their ass to vote that are willing to vote for someome further left is more helpful than not voting.
