    Shirako wasn’t available at this place, but they had herring roe that was pretty solid.

    I haven’t tried sperm sushi yet, what do you recommend about it?

      I just enjoy telling people I’ve eaten it. It’s creamy though, and had a lovely fresh sea taste too it.

      I had it multiple times, it’s genuinely quite nice.

        huh, I’ll keep an eye out, I don’t think I’ve ever noticed it in restaurants I’ve been to before. Did you have it in japan?

          Yeah, at a couple of sushi places and also at one of those early morning fish markets where you can go around and build yourself a bowl of raw fish bits.

            i don’t know about the build a bowl either, which sounds more to my taste. Thanks.

            I didn’t go to a fish market either of the last two trips, i’ll make that a priority next time I visit.
