      These are fun to laugh at, but it genuinely could be that the cook was replaced or improved their skills.

        Okay, but at least as the restaurant presents it (which I understand isn’t necessarily representative), the garlic bread looks fine. So do customers’ pictures of the garlic bread, which look entirely consistent with the restaurant’s own photo. Out of 1029 reviews on TripAdvisor, it has an average of 4.2, and none of the pictures of food look sloppy.

        Even when I see a negative review, it’s like “pizza didn’t have enough flavor and was a bit too oily; 3/5”. Do I trust Aussies on Phillip Island to have a highly discerning palate for good Italian food? No. Do I expect that the food is generally disgusting and dripping with grease? Also obviously no. This all looks like normal-ass fare for the price and locale.

          That garlic bread looks fantastic. I kinda grew up with frozen Texas toast garlic bread though so maybe I’m not the best judge.
