ISTG DOES NO ONE CHECK THE MOTHERFUCKING TITLE YOU ILLTERATE FUCKS
Wtf are you on?
You do realize they were 14 years old, right?
Nothing obscene here, nice tune really, but many don’t know the roots…
Didn’t one of them despite having a hit song about a lesbian relationship say she would not support a gay son?
Yeah, Volkova went completely nuts, joined Putin’s party and tried to get elected, now shes full on Z war supporter and talks about how much she loves patriarchy. Katina remains sane and cant stand her shit, but I guess cant say no to a boatload of money so they occasionally reunite for shows at government funded events. Neither of them were ever lesbian, though. It was a shtick their pedo producer was playing on, which has undoubtedly traumatized them both.
It’s Russia. Lesbians are somewhat fine because it’s sexy. Gays are violently attacked.
What exactly?
Tatu itself is a masterpiece production project made in the Russia of 90s.
New market and audience niches were open on Pop music and they were up for grabbing.
Ivan Shapovalov was a psychologist doing different jobs including marketing until he met a composer and co-producer with money and connections.
He already worked with one of two girls, so they did casting to fill the gap, and because Pop music was still not enough saturated the project lifted off well.
Of course, they were stretching and overworking the girls too much and I don’t think producers behavior was ethical.
However from production standpoint Tatu is a great example of self-made success. So long story short - vision and necessity made Tatu.
“200 KMH in the wrong lane”
I’m honestly pretty impressed by some of the obscure/absurd stuff some of these artists come up with. This one is strangely specific, yet slightly absurd. What makes you conceive of calling an album that?
200 km/h is what everyone understands as fast and still most cars are able to do it.
400 km/h would be absolutely fast as well, but that’s not relatable. You’d need a certain type of car for that.Having seen many a Russian dashcam video and thus being an expert on such matters, I believe the full title included it being in a Lada on any icy road but they had to trim it for length.
That some people actually do that for thrills. Also, the 90’s were super eDgY.

It’s just the mashup of the Russian and English version of the song.
It’s quite common for European pop songs to have both English and native versions, or what you don’t understand
