It’s about the mage from the Party of Heroes. 80 years ago they defeated the Demon King and shattered his armies, restoring peace to most of the world.
Frierien is an elf who has lived for hundreds of years and the rest of the party are dying of old age.
The show follows her as she learns to open up to people, even though she knows those people will only live for a small fraction of her lifespan, and what it’s like to live in the world she helped save now that people are starting to forget she did.
It knocked Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood off the top spot on MyAnimeList after (something like) 13 years of dominance.
It’s excellent, though some find it a little slow in parts. (I think that’s fitting for a story about an immortal)
Didn’t they add that exact angle to the second season to show him how it’s done?
Yes. And it was never trying to make fun of the person who originally posted this. It was just artists being artists.
“Get anglemogged idiot”
Season of what? I’m unfamiliar with anything besides the funny picture. What’s the source material?

It is amazing narrative with slices of life to really bring out the characterization that makes it feel immersive.
i love the slow pacing. it reminds me of Kino’s Journey.
Frieren is also adorable.
